The End, or a New Beginning?

Sadly, Eclectrix Organic Home will be closing on December 21st, after 2 years of supplying healthy lifestyle alternatives to our community. With the down turn in the economy, it is unfortunate that one area where people are choosing to cut back is organic living. We have surely noticed this trend back to standard products. Our suppliers have rallied by increasing their prices, trying to survive in this market. We are choosing to do something a little different.

By repurposing, renewing and reusing antique furniture, we are hopefully still supporting the back to nature lifestyle by not encouraging random buying of cheap imported goods. Our antiques will be locally sourced and be in the store on a consignment basis. We can provide the names of several responsible and reliable moving companies that will gladly transport the furniture back and forth as required. In addition, several tailors, seamstresses and upholsterers have willingly offered their services for restoration.

To enhance the antiques and encourage more local hand work, the store also will welcome arts, that is paintings, pottery, sculpture, textile arts (knitting, crochet, weaving, felting), jewelry, and wood crafts, old or new.

Green Sleep Organic mattresses and accessories will continue in the store as well as spirit organics, our exclusive line of personal care products formulated by a local aromatherapist for our store. We welcome you, either as a returning customer looking for organics, or as an antique or hand craft aficianado. Thank you for your support. Live green and prosper!
